Last night we attended the Welcome Reception for the Australian artists at Art Hub, Abu Dhabi. Hosted by owner Mr Ahmed Al Yafei & Director Karen Elizabeth Hart, with honorable guests Mr Pablo Kang, Australian Ambassador to UAE and his wife Rebecca Kang. Artists attending were Maria Pena & Julian Clavijo who had flown in from Melbourne as artists in residence at Art Hub for one month, and local expat artists Cheryl Malloy & myself. The exhibition will open on Saturday May 11th, 7pm and run until June 30th. I will be exhibiting a series of my new charcoals, see earlier posts for images....
